I'm Hannah, an artist currently based in Altrincham, just outside of Manchester.

I grew up in Dorset and after leaving school spent a year studying art at The Arts Institute in Bournemouth. From there I went on to study Surface Pattern and Textile Design in Brighton and after graduating with my degree moved to London.

Here the fun really started! I interned as a fashion assistant at Dazed magazine, a studio assistant at Hyde SK and an accessories designer at All Saints. Then came probably my most insane career highlight to date, senior design consultant for Nike, specialising in colour theory.

I spent my remaining years in London working first as an assistant buyer for Oasis and then as a product developer for Whistles. I relocated to Manchester in the summer of 2008 and went on to work in the fashion industry as an account manager for nearly ten years. It was still the fast paced and creative environment that I loved but I wasn't actually producing anything myself. Fast forward a few years and few kids later and I now work as The Custom Botanist full time, drawing your flowers on a daily basis. The dream.
